Murder is Never Funny... or Is It?

Starring Jason Bernardo and Jessicah Neufeld, Cocktails with Nick and Lana is a witty take and homage to the 1930s classic murder mystery series, The Thin Man.

Nick and Lana's neighbor is murdered in her condo. 

 

The police bungle the investigation.

Filled with enthusiasm but lacking sleuthing skills, Nick and Lana land on the idea to invite their neighbors for drinks and a witty chat - in other words - get them high, grill them and presto discover who pulled the trigger.

Easier said than done.

​

One by one their neighbors drop by for cocktails but it devolves into chaos, dead ends, and occasionally one too many drinks.

Meanwhile, the charming couple is slowly falling into a financial abyss. Bankruptcy is on the horizon when suddenly another neighbor is murdered near San Diego Bay.

What can they do?
